Recognised TV Chef Mark Lloyd has become Executive Chef at Pomona’s, bringing a wealth of experience to the stylish restaurant and bar in the heart of Notting Hill.
With his knowledge for British wild food and passion for shooting, fishing and foraging, Mark leads the kitchen with a revived modern European a la carte menu and new daily specials board, reflecting his farm to fork culture. Mark’s rustic, simple cooking with a refined finish uses ethically sourced, seasonal ingredients from responsible local producers. Mark has an impressive 18 years’ experience in the industry, starting his career in 2000 as Chef de Partie in Michelin listed, The Beach House in Spain. Shortly after returning to the UK he became Head Chef in 2007 at the renowned River Cottage Canteen, learning the important ethos of sustainable and local cuisine.
Mark’s culinary journey continued in South West England as Senior Sous Chef at St Mellion International Resort and Country Club, and Head Chef at The Cleave Inn. In 2011, Mark honed his skills further, becoming Development Executive Chef at Miele, hosting cookery demonstrations all over the UK. In 2012, he starred in BBC America’s Chef Race, appearing on other TV programmes such as Great British Waste Menu, Market Kitchen, Hairy Bikers, BBC Breakfast, Sky, Food Network and many more.
Jay Decker has been involved in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. Jay has great experience across the world working at a number of elite bars & restaurants. During his career he's represented global spirit brands as an ambassador and successfully won prestigious competitions within the industry. Jay has dedicated his working life to the hospitality industry learning his trade alongside industry pioneers.
Jay developed a genuine love for hospitality whilst at award winning Loungelover in Shoreditch over a successful 3 year stint as General Manager. Jay has been truly inspired working alongside hospitality greats fro Michelin star chefs to industry leading experts and award winning bartenders. A qualified lover of wines, Jay has spend a great deal of time across vineyards in Europe, California, New Zealand and Australia. A constant passion throughout his career, cocktails has led him to a number of prestigious awards with Snow Queen, Bols, Bombay Sapphire, Havana Club and Beefeater.
